I love playing the piano but I also play the guitar and the harmonica.
I like to do visually amusing things such as tip the piano on it’s side, stand on my stool and play it that way or play it with my feet or other implements such as a paint roller or coat hanger (no joke!). I also have a case full of props (wigs, glasses and hats) which I use to add some humourous impersonations to my show.
I prefer to play Boogie Woogie, Blues, Swing, Rock ‘n’ Roll and Party Music but I also do many more styles of music.
I can take a song that people know and play it in various styles. For example: Let It Be, starting with a verse from the original version and then doing an interpretation of Joe Cocker singing and then a 1970’s Elton John version, a blues version and a Bob Marley version – finishing up with the original version and the audience singing along.
I will bring all my equipment including instrument(s) and sound system. All I need from you is a plug socket!
